In the dizzying development of apartment capacities on the Bjelasnica mountain, big changes have also taken place in the concept of mountain buildings, which now often have flat roofs instead of mansard roofs, with sloping walls on the last floors. With the project of the MD apartment building, we did not want to design a building that would only imitate mountain architecture by mimicry, instead we tried, by using materials and colors as well as the fragmenting the building's form, to soften the impression of a city building on a mountain.
